Seventh Heaven
![]() I have yet to meet anyone who say they do not like ice-cream. So when I read not one but two blogs mentioning this little gem of a find, I just had to go down and try it myself.
I was confident Seventh Heaven was at Marketing Institute of Singapore in Raeburn Park so I did not wrote down the address or a contact number. The place was deserted save for a few students and some security personnel as it was a Saturday afternoon. I was fearful (did I come to the wrong place) when two different groups of students did not know about an ice-cream parlour in the school compound. Lucky for me, the security personnel knew about the place and showed me the way. I was surprised a second time when I peeked into the small parlour and did not see any customer. Lynn did not want to go in at first but I threw a small husband-tantrum and we decided to go in since we were already there. A group of 3 ladies also came in after us; apparently they had took a taxi all the way here and was surprised that the students in the school did not know about this place too. As Lynn did not want any alcohol-laden ice-cream, we tried a chocolate and lychee-martini ice-cream which included a brandied cherry. Although most of the ice-cream here are infused with alcohol, it was slight and quite suitable for kids as well. I finished the ice-cream with a shot of Extreme Chocolate, literally melted Amedei chocolate so we were warned twice that it is very thick. The ice-cream and melted chocolate were good and the only letdown for me was the seating. They only had bar stools and small stools, no low-backed chairs or sofas so one could not stay long and chit-chat among friends. Do note that Seventh Heaven is closed on Sundays. | Permalink |
